Roberto Santillán-Salgado, Ph.D. in Business Administration, University of Texas at Austin/Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey. Post-Doctoral stay at the Finance Department at the University of Texas at Austin. Post-Doctoral stay at the Escuela Superior de Economía, Instituto Politécnico Nacional, Mexico City. Roberto Santillán-Salgado is a Full Professor of Finance at EGADE Business School (Monterrey, Mexico) (www.egade.mx). He is a member of Mexico’s National Researchers System, in its highest level (III) and President of the American Academy of Financial Management, Latin American Chapter. His main teaching and research interests are in Corporate Finance, Corporate Financial Risk Management, International Financial Management, and Financial Econometrics. During his career, Dr. Santillán-Salgado has occupied the position of Director of the Master of Science in Finance Program at EGADE from 1998 through 2004, and Director of the “Financial Markets, Asset Valuation and Risk Management” Research Chair at EGADE Business School, from 2012 to 2014. He frequently lectures in Europe and the Americas.
